Pyrolysis technology is an efficient, environmentally friendly and circular way of recycling waste tires into valuable materials

How does pyrolysis work?

First the tires are shredded into smaller pieces in a shredder, then the tires decompose at elevated temperatures without oxygen. The process is known as pyrolysis. The advantage is that the valuable raw materials are not destroyed, which they are with the traditional method that combines methods with oxygen.

We have a modern pyrolysis plant that is more efficient and specializes in the processing of tires, minimization of waste and maximization production of materials without the valuable raw materials being destroyed. With our technology resources can be recycled and used longer without the CO2 pollution.

Pyrolysis Oil

Our pyrolysis plant generates oil of several qualities. We can produce oil that is described as a petrochemical product which can be used for acetone which is included in various products. The residual oil is suitable as diesel for generators for energy production.

Carbon Black

Carbon black gets refined, this gives a high market value as a product, used in a long line of applications. Carbon black powder can be mixed with the old carbon black and thus adapted to different uses.

Steel

Approx. 15% of the tires used are quality steel. The steel fraction is separated from the tires through an advanced process and the residue is extracted from the carbon black powder. The steel can be sold at market price and is suitable for many purposes, including the manufacturing of new tires.
